The Truth Behind America’s goal is to inform the people of New England about the immigrants who come to the United States. It is mainly targeted towards the people of New England as oppose to talking about the issue as a whole country in order to avoid generalization. The purpose is to discuss the common misconception the general public have about immigrants and how immigrants from New England differ from the common stereotype around the nation. The primary audience is mainly people in New England who do not have much knowledge about immigrants who settle in the region and have a narrow minded view about the subject. In addition, to educate other minorities about facts about New England immigrants and to show they also goe through struggle in America.
